Example of Course Allocation
In the example below, we have a large mentoring organization that has purchased 50 courses. They have allocated courses across programs.

Their current allocations at each Organizational Unit can be reviewed by clicking the Organizational Unit Name in the "Allocate Uses To" box on the lower left, explained as follows:

There are 5 course uses that are shared allocated to "Large Mentoring Organization". These course uses
can be used to enroll students (e.g. mentors) volunteering in any program by any caseworker.

There are 10 course uses that are shared allocated to "Program A: School-Based Mentoring Program".
These course uses can be used to enroll students by any caseworker working in the School-Based Mentoring
Program. Note that we also see the 5 course uses that were allocated to "Large Mentoring Organization"
here, since these are shared.

There are also 10 course uses allocated to "Susan Caseworker". Since these are not shared, these can
only be used to enroll students by Susan Caseworker, who works for the Organization's Community Based
Mentoring Program. Note that we again see the 5 course uses that were allocated to "Large Mentoring
Organization" here, since these are shared.

Taken together, the Administrator of this Large Mentoring Organization has allocated 25 of the 50 course uses they purchased. This means that the remaining 25 course uses are still available and can be allocated to programs and caseworkers, as needed.
